The Role:

*Position Overview:* The *Corporate Travel Business Development Representative* is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new corporate travel clients. This role focuses on *generating leads, building relationships with decision-makers, and closing sales opportunities* to expand Riverdale Travel's corporate travel management portfolio. The ideal candidate is a *highly motivated, results-driven sales professional* with experience in B2B sales, corporate travel, or business development. *Key Responsibilities:* * Identify and prospect *new corporate travel accounts* through outbound sales efforts, networking, and referrals. * Develop and execute *sales strategies* to engage decision-makers and present Riverdale Travel's corporate travel solutions. * Conduct *discovery meetings and presentations* to understand client travel needs and demonstrate value-driven solutions. * Maintain an active pipeline, track progress, and manage sales activities using a *CRM system*. * Negotiate and close new business deals, ensuring seamless onboarding for new clients. * Collaborate with *operations, account management, and marketing teams* to align sales efforts with service offerings. * Stay informed about *industry trends, competitor offerings, and corporate travel technologies* to effectively position Riverdale Travel's solutions. *Qualifications:* * Minimum of 1-2 *years of B2B sales or business development experience*, preferably in corporate travel, hospitality, or SaaS sales. * Strong understanding of *corporate travel management, expense policies, and travel technology platforms*. * Proven track record of *meeting or exceeding sales targets*. * Excellent *negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills*. * Ability to work independently, manage multiple sales cycles, and drive revenue growth. * Proficiency in *CRM tools, prospecting software, and Microsoft Office Suite*. *Reports To:* Chief Relationship Officer *Why Join Riverdale Travel?* Riverdale Travel is a 100+ year old, single location travel agency in Coon Rapids, MN.
