Retail Sales Representative

The Role:

*About the role* We are looking for a _Retail Sales Representative who _will maintain the unique NYC in-store vibe whilst providing exceptional personalized customer service. We need a multi-talented sales person who can meet sales quotas for our business whilst thriving in a fast paced environment.. Candidates with strong communication and problem solving skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store, and go to great lengths to solve their problems will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive, friendly and caring attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will contribute to the store's profitability while ensuring that customers leave our store with an exceptional experience, feeling like part of the Now You're Clean community. *About you* * MUST LOVE DOGS (and people) * 4+ years experience in retail or hospitality with a sales focus. * Understanding of the retail sales process * Familiarity with consumer behavior principles * Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures * Track record of achieving sales quotas * Exceptional communications skills, capable of building trusting relationships. * Bsc in Marketing or Business related field a Bonus * Shopify Experience a Bonus * Autonomous self-starter with an easygoing and friendly manner. * Ability to perform in fast-paced environments * Commercially minded individual with demonstrated ability to comprehend complex concepts. *Roles and Responsibilities:* Maintain the unique NYC in-store vibe * Be unrelenting about maintaining a relaxed and welcoming, but confident and capable energy to ensure a positive client experience for all visitors. Provide next level customer service * Greet all incoming customers * Provide detailed information about our services / products and "how we work" to new potential customers * Support customers to complete "client registration processes" (when required) * Conduct sales in store, over the phone, and online * Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales service). * Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing * Upsell / cross-sell services and products to maximize all sale opportunities * Ensure shelves, racks are fully stocked at all times * Manage returns, exchanges and refunds * Inform customers about promotions and discounts * Stay up to date with new products / services * Facilitate client check in for grooming and wash appointments * Conduct pod training for all new clients and their pooches * Induct, host and regulate The Buddha Club members and sessions * Take grooming bookings, pod reservations, and Buddha Club membership applications over the phone, online, and in store * Action online purchases * Answer phones, respond to online chat enquiries and manage the Now You're Clean info email inbox * Dispense treats! Create/capture content * Identify opportunities and photograph/video clientele's pooches * Record names, breed, and personal story (i.e. favourite toy, quirks & personality traits, how they met their owner e.g.) for use in content and copy. * Secure client approval to use clients' image and personal stories in social media and on the website. * Support the founders to utilise captured content in socials and on the website. Projects * Work within website CMS as directed by the Founders (Shopify and various apps). * Support Founders with Business Development activity (as directed). * Assist the Founders to coordinate social and promotions calendar (as directed). * Other duties as required.
