Sales Development Representative

We're passionate about helping to solve one of the biggest challenges for American businesses; and as we scale and continue to grow, we're looking for ambitious and mission driven individuals to support our GTM efforts. *Job Summary* Reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Expansion, the Sales Development Representative role is an integral component within the Growth Team responsible for helping to expand our reach by introducing our services to our target audience. In this role, you will be accountable for supporting our GTM strategy by generating new business opportunities through differing outreach strategies, qualifying leads and nurturing relationships with prospective clients to drive growth. *Responsibilities* * Identify and research target ICPs through multiple channels incl. industry events, directories, networking and social media; to build a prospect pipeline. * Leverage outreach strategies incl. cold calling, emailing and social media messaging to introduce services and gauge interest. * Maintain consistency and regularly touch & follow up with prospects to move prospects through the sales funnel. * Strive to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as assigned through effective lead generation and qualification efforts. * Data integrity and CRM management; ensuring all activities and communications are logged to allow for accurate tracking of lead progress and transition to account executive team. * Effectively articulate value proposition, leveraging value selling methodology. * Be curious. Monitor market trends and conditions as well as proactively follow competitor and industry activity to allow for ongoing refinement of GTM . *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. A minimum of 1 year B2B sales experience as an individual contributor with strong record of outreach quota attainment. * Proficient with sales technology stack including CRM (Salesforce preferred) and sales communication platforms (Gong preferred). * Experience of engaging with personas within agriculture, landscaping, nurseries or any industries that have a high dependency on seasonal labor is highly desirable. * Systematic approach to lead generation and nurturing. * Outstanding attention to detail and a strong process rigor with a continuous improvement attitude. * Must be a 'scrappy' self-starter, comfortable working in a dynamic, 'pick up a shovel' culture. * Be mission driven.
