Outside Sales Representative

The Role:

Job Description – Outside Sales Representative - Delaware Primary Territory is Kent County and Sussex County Delaware Overview: Join E.D. Supply Company, a division of Consolidated Electrical Distributors, a leading electrical supply distributor serving businesses on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships in the electrical wholesale industry. If you do not have Electrical Distributor experience there will be a necessary training period before starting sales duties. That training may 12-18 months. Duties: - Conduct outside sales activities to promote products and services to new and existing customers - Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to maximize sales opportunities - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction - Drive business development initiatives to expand market reach and increase sales revenue - Utilize technical sales knowledge to educate customers on product features and benefits Experience: - Electrical distributor sales experience will help you start selling sooner, but is not required. - Proven experience in sales, preferably in outside sales or a related field - Strong background in customer service - Familiarity with technical sales concepts and products within the electrical industry is advantageous - Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and closing sales deals - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity Company Culture: E.D.
