Sales Director - Commercial Accounts
The Role:
*Sales Director-Commercial Accounts * Super Bright LEDs, a leading innovator in LED lighting solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director. In this role, you will lead our commercial sales team and foster company growth through excellent new and existing customer sales achievement. You will oversee and drive our sales strategy, manage a talented team of account professionals, and cultivate relationships with key clients and partners. As a sales leader, you will be instrumental in identifying the right account segment and growth strategy, setting ambitious sales targets, and developing innovative approaches to ensure the continued growth and success of our brand in the competitive LED industry. *Responsibilities*: * *Sales Strategy and Planning:* Develop and execute sales plans and customer strategies to achieve specific revenue and growth goals. Analyze customer data to identify target customer groups, best customers, retention, repeat purchase cycles, account assignments, and industry / segment goals. * *Team Management and Leadership:* Recruit, train, and manage a team of commercial account representatives to maximize individual and team performance through coaching, target goals, and incentives. Motivate and coach the team to develop their prospecting, account development, and sales closure skills. * *Customer Relationship Management:* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understand their needs, and provide customer service and product expertise. This includes feedback to Product Management on gaps in assortment, requirements for top customers in major product categories, and future demand levels. * *Sales Forecasting and Reporting:* Track sales performance, opportunity pipeline and closure rate, sales forecast, and analysis of customer / category trends to make informed decisions. Prepare sales reports and presentations to communicate progress and insights to management. * *Sales and Marketing Activities:* Develop in collaboration with marketing and product management marketing and sales campaigns to promote new products, refreshed or updated product lines, and deal products target segments. * *Productivity and Efficiency:* Drive efficiency across the team leveraging the CRM and ERP systems in place to reduce the time for tasks, ensure account representatives have automated queues to drive customer engagement, and *Required* *Skills*: * *Leadership and Management Skills:* Ability to motivate and inspire teams, provide effective training and coaching, and delegate tasks effectively * *Strong Sales and Negotiation Skills:* Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and closing deals. * *Communication and Interpersonal Skills:* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, coworkers, and partners. * *Technical Knowledge:* Understanding of LED lighting technology, applications, and industry trends. * *Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems effectively *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred * Ten years of prior experience in sales with at least 5 years' managing sales teams * Proven track record of achieving sales objectives, targets, and driving company growth * Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams, deliver impactful coaching, and maximize performance and efficiency of an account team. *Benefits:* * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, STD, LTD, and Supplemental Life/AD&D * Paid Time Off, Holidays, Jury Duty, and Bereavement * Annual raise and bonus * 401(k) retirement plan with 6% company match * Casual work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Application Question(s): * What is your desired salary range or pay range?
