Residential and Construction Sales Representative
The Role:
Territory Includes Craven, Carteret, Jones, Beaufort and Pitt Counties. Koala Insulation of Eastern and Coastal Carolina is an insulation contractor providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors, government entities and property owners. *Job Summary:* We are seeking a results-driven *Residential, Commercial & New Construction Sales Representative* to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth in residential, commercial, and new construction insulation projects through *in-home consults, reading blueprints, estimating jobs, submitting bids, and building relationships within the construction industry.* The ideal candidate has *a strong background in construction sales and consultative sales, understands insulation applications, and is skilled in bid preparation for commercial properties.* *Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct *on-site assessments* to determine insulation needs and recommend appropriate solutions for residential customers. * Identify and pursue *new commercial and construction sales opportunities* through sourcing, networking, cold calling, and industry contacts. * *Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents* to determine insulation requirements. * Prepare and submit *accurate, competitive bids and proposals* for commercial insulation projects. * Develop relationships with *general contractors, project managers, architects, and construction firms* to secure contracts. * Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators and project managers, to ensure job accuracy and timely execution. * Stay updated on *industry trends, building codes, and energy efficiency regulations* relevant to insulation. * Meet *monthly and quarterly sales targets,* and provide reports to management. *Qualifications:* * *3+ years of sales experience* in the commercial or construction industry, preferably in insulation or a related field. * *Ability to read and analyze blueprints and construction documents* is required. * Experience in *estimating and bidding on commercial projects* is a must. * Strong knowledge of *construction processes, building codes, and insulation products*. * Excellent *communication, negotiation, and presentation skills*. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Proficiency in *Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software* (such as Bluebeam or similar). * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for site visits and client meetings. *Physical Requirements:* * Prolonged periods of walking, standing, crouching, and maneuvering through attics and crawlspaces. * Must be able to access and navigate the job site. * Tolerate jobsite environment which is subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds. *Benefits:* * Uncapped Commission Pay Structure based on profitability * Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement * Professional development and training opportunities Join our team and help businesses improve their energy efficiency with top-quality insulation solutions!
