The Role:

*Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company *is looking for a _*Regional Salesperson*_ to join our team and assist in covering the *States of Texas and Louisiana.* *Who we are:* Since 1946, Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company has been a family owned, private company specializing in providing high quality sheet metal pipe, duct, and fittings for residential HVAC systems. Third generation ownership and a highly dedicated management staff are committed to the company legacy of workmanship, personalized service, and customer partnership. Southwark Metal currently has seven facilities strategically placed across the United States to better serve our customers. *What will you do:* The _Regional Salesperson_ is responsible for the sale of the organization's products in a specified region or geographical area. The ideal candidate is responsible for prospecting and building new customer relationships, as well as growing existing customer partnerships. The ability to communicate the organizations value proposition along with industry, product, technical, and customer knowledge to influence buying decision and revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services. *Key Responsibilities:* * Research, develop & maintain long- and short-range sales & marketing plans. * Develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services. * Maintain an up-to-date awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans. * Follow up on sales leads and develop leads. * Develop technical presentations & workshops. * Maintain up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends & competition. * Make regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads. * Act to close deals & finalize contacts. * Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals. * Produce regular reports & final plans for Manager's approval. * Maintain an up-to-date awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans. * Attend trade shows, buying group meetings and work with customer's sales force. *Requirements and Skills:* * Proven experience in wholesale sales or a similar role. * Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills. * Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. * Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. * Ability to negotiate and close sales deals. * Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs. * Willingness to travel as needed.
