Business Development Representative - Employee Benefits
The Role:
*About the Role:* CLIENT is seeking a motivated Employee Benefits Sales Representative to join our fully remote, work-from-home team. This role focuses on selling employee benefits to employer groups (10-50 employees) through cold calling, COI development, and cross-selling. You will receive comprehensive training over 12-24 months, including an 8-week fundamentals course and licensing support. Successful candidates may advance to a Middle Market Sales role with increased earnings and equity opportunities. *Key Responsibilities:* * Source and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales efforts. * Participate in virtual training and obtain a Life & Health insurance license within 8 weeks. * Achieve an annualized new business sales goal of $80K in the target market. * Utilize CLIENT's sales tools to research prospects, manage pipelines, and track sales activity. * Conduct virtual meetings, represent CLIENT at industry events, and build long-term client relationships. *Qualifications:* * 1+ years of sales experience (PEO, Payroll, HRIS sales preferred). * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies in a fast-paced environment. * Tech-savvy with the ability to work independently and meet targets. *Compensation & Benefits:* * Base Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 + uncapped commission * Fully remote position – work from home and conduct virtual meetings * Career advancement opportunities into Middle Market Sales Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay Location: * New York State (Required) Work Location: Remote
