Manufacturer's Sales Representative
The Role:
Responsibilities & Duties: Offers customer service before, during and after the sale. Including guidance on the guaranteed process and coordination if necessary. • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. • Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests. • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support. • Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. • Identify prospective customers using business directories, follow existing clients' leads, participate in organizations and clubs, and attend trade shows and conferences. • Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs. • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitors' products, prices, and sales. • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports. • Assist with developing and implementing territory business development strategies • Develop/manage positive working relationships with prospects and assigned customers. • Participate in on-going product and sales training programs. Requirements: • Business Administration bachelor's degree or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum of five (5) year previous sales experience required (windows & doors/construction/building materials must) • Bilingual: English & Spanish • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. • Availability to travel in support of sales, training, and service management. 25%+ Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off * Parental leave Compensation Package: * Commission pay Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
