In this role, you will take inbound and outbound calls, communicate with customers to identify their needs and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and able to remain calm under pressure. Must be ok with being the liaison between customer and company departments. Sales experience is preferred but will train the right person. This position will range from 30-40 hours per week and does include an on call rotation among the department. This is an hourly position with opportunity for monthly bonus. Responsibilities Receive inbound calls and place outbound calls Identify the reason for the customer's call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions Refer to premade scripts for a variety of customer service topics Upsell products and services when appropriate Collect on A/R accounts Heavy volumes of data entry Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers Document all customer interactions Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge Qualifications High school diploma/GED Previous experience as a Call Center Representative or in a similar role is preferred Excellent phone and verbal communication skills Understanding of active listening techniques Ability to work well under pressure Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
